“Free Tax Friday“ is a free service of Pozzi Tax that is offered to the public each Friday afternoon for just this reason. Taxpayers with pending tax issues, and/or questions on returns already prepared, receive a free review of tax returns or tax matters, and are assisted in developing a plan of action or response. “Free Tax Friday” has been an overnight success since we introduced it in 2010, and we regularly fill the time-slots available for this program. It has already provided relief for many residents of Central Oregon. Our experience indicates that half of the returns that come to our office (and are not prepared by a CPA) require an amendment.
